You've got to love the way red cedar grinds up. It smells amazing and leaves a beautiful red mulch behind

Here's a black walnut stump I was grinding in Christian County... the grain showing up while I was while cutting through the heartwood was really beautiful.

Here's that same stump and mulch/dirt spread out evenly. I came out really nice for this happy customer. Pictured also is my 1st stump grinder... a Vermeer SC362, 35 hp gas powered engine.

This stump was in their front yard and was a considerable eyesore. No more shoots coming up after the grinding was done =)

I use Carlton Professional Tree Equipment when I grind the stumps. It makes a very nice mulch that breaks down easy over time if left in the hole.

Sometimes you have to get into some pretty tight places when grinding for a customer. We ended taking a section of fence out to be able to make these tight turns to get to the stumps, but the customer was happy with the results, and we were thankful for the work =)

On rare occasions I will fell a tree. It's not my core business so I shy away from this type of work normally. In this case, I was doing it for a buddy who cared not where the tree landed or what happened to anything the tree hit on the way down. Thankfully that big joker fell right where I wanted it to! =) And I got to grind the stump when I was done.

This was pretty cool... I got to the customer's site and there was a cross carved into the stump by the Aborist who harvested the tree for him. I respectfully cut the cross off the stump and placed it in the mulch for him to continue to enjoy.

It's so cool the people you meet and the things you come across while you're grinding stumps!

Here's some recent photos from customers' I've helped in 2021.

This is my bud Mike's yard... he asked me if I thought I could grind a Crepe Myrtle that was on the second tier of his landscaping. Needless to say, I like a challenge so up I climbed. Trailer ramps worked great to get to the next level and worked perfectly =) I had to do the Austin Powers turn like 20 times to get my machine pointed in the right direction, but I got it done, lol.

Shown below is a stump that had been blown over at a customer's house. It also had a chain link fence growing through the middle of it! I was able to get the stump ground down and filled the hole with dirt and chips. The customer was super happy with the results.

This was a whopper of a stump in front of a business here in Clarksville. It was nearly 5 feet in diameter and hard a woodpecker lips! I think they plan to plant flowers where the stump once was =)

I own 3 acres of wooded land behind our home in the Sango area. I asked to have a dozen stumps removed around our home and throughout the walking trails we put in behind our home. They showed up on time, finished all of the stumps quickly and gave us an excellent price! He even ground down a couple I didn’t ask for because he noticed I didn’t see them.

I am not easy to impress, and I give them my highest recommendation!

I highly recommend Key Stump Grinding. We called them to take care of a stump that was in our front yard ever since we moved in a year ago. He quickly ground it down and chased the roots that were poking above ground as well. He also did five more smaller stumps in the back yard and made quick work of it all. He does excellent work at a very reasonable price.

Key Stump Grinding did a great job for us. We had them remove three stumps for us. They showed up on time, were very efficient and were done in about two hours. They raked up the grinding for us. Overall I give them two thumbs up and who happily recommend them and use them again. They were also very affordable.

Key Stump Grinding came today and removed our stump. They were fantastic! Kept in constant communication with me because rain has delayed us a few times. Showed up on time, wonderfully nice and professional. Took the stump down quick and left the dirt/wood mixture just where I wanted it. If you need a stump removed look then look no further! Give Key Stump Grinding your business!
